My first blog!
Ok, so i’m finally at the point where i am able to blog…about 2 weeks after everyone else and with a lot of help from Sophie! Thank you!! I suppose i just think this stuff, blogging, doesn’t come that naturally to me and i find it quite hard to write without a purpose. Most of the time i just think i’m rambling about rubbish and would rather ramble to myself inside my head rather than putting pen to paper and writing about it.
After the first lecture i thought it was very interesting to learn that being creative isn’t necessarily to do with the arts. Something which i am not very good at and never thought of myself as being the ‘creative type’. I particularly enjoyed Ken Robinson’s video, so much so i made some of my house mates watch it and they all loved it and agreed with him that schools are killing childrens creativity. It will be interesting to learn about how you can include creativity into such subjects as science and maths. Having always liked those subject at school i never really thought that i was taught to be creative in the lessons.
I hope to become more creative as the sessions go on.
